Hi folks. This is part 2 of the holiday blog for 2011. Monday 8th August we left Pension Cori at 4.00am to catch the early (make thgat very early) morning flight to Cape Town. Goodbye Namibia and thank you for a fantastically memorable holiday.
Great flight on a Canadair RJ200. Awesome views of the southern deserts & canyons. Arrived in Cape Town at 9.00am to an almost desserted airport. Really nice too. Caught the interesting MyCiti bus to town, the ne the F1 route to the Waterfront. Arrived at the rather splendid Victoria & Alfred Hotel and checked-in. Right on the quayside where it's all happening. It was busy at 11.00am so wht;s it going to bve like this evening? Booked our trip to Robben Islan (two days off - there's a queue you know?) and tomorrow we'll be onj the HoHo bus (more buses?). Afternoon mozying around town..
